Ryan Roberts

Academic Coordinator

Ryan grew up in Utah and spent most of his time competing in dance. He also enjoyed playing various other sports and experimenting in other forms of art. But eventually, he found a love for psychology and service. After high school, he graduated with a Bachelor’s at Utah Valley University in Behavioral Science. During his time there, he spent his time volunteering at women’s shelters, tutoring programs, or coaching dance.

Before becoming a mentor at The Arise Society, he worked for over 5 years in residential treatment centers. He also has spent over 5 years working in education, primarily with helping students get their high school diploma or finding success in college.

Nowadays, he spends his free time learning whatever skills pique his interest. These range from video editing to drawing. He also enjoys playing video or board games with his wife of 2 years and visiting his family, who live nearby.
