David Incze
Program Director
David Incze grew up in Long Island, New York with his sister and single mother. As a kid, he attended youth programs where he discovered the importance of building healthy connections and gained the tools to be successful.
This experience fostered his passion for wanting to help others do the same. In 2014, he moved to Utah to begin working in wilderness therapy, starting out as a field instructor at Red Cliff Ascent Wilderness Therapy with adolescents and adults in the Pine Valley region. He spent his time there teaching young people survival skills both for the outdoors, and society.
David found that the mix of therapeutic intention and outdoors setting helped guide students towards genuine reflection and change. he continued his career in the wilderness field when he started working at Second Nature Wilderness Family Therapy in 2016. There, he continued to work with adolescents, relating to their struggles through his own lens as a former student.
Now at the Arise Society, he continues to pull from both his personal and professional experiences to connect with students and help them navigate the current phase of their life. David is an avid techie and car enthusiast.
He loves learning how things work and the effort that goes into restoring something like new. As often as he can, David also enjoys returning home to New York, where he devotes time to friends and family.
